Who we are

Gavin Zimmerle

Gavin Zimmerle is the Principal of ZSI and is a senior property executive and qualified lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in real estate advisory, business development, site acquisition and disposals, property development, strategy and law.  Gavin has worked as a real estate lawyer for major international law firms, including Slaughter and May in London and Allens in Australia.

He has also held numerous senior executive roles over a 10-year career at Stockland, including Senior Commercial Counsel – Residential and the National Manager of Business Development.  In 2017, Gavin established a specialist real estate and strategy management consultancy, ZSI, through which he advises many public and private sector clients such as Lendlease, Infrastructure NSW, Housing Australia, UNSW and Landcom, specialising in the delivery of affordable housing.

Gavin was the Chair of the Major Projects Advisory Committee at Parramatta Council (providing strategic advice on major projects to the CEO and Councillors) and is on the CHIA Professional Advisory Panel for Housing Australia Funding (assisting CHPs with accessing federal government funding to deliver affordable housing).

His qualifications include a Bachelor of Law (First Class Honours), a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment.
